A friend and I went today to check out the Ballston Arts and Crafts Market. Located in Welburn Square, it's conveniently located by the metro. (I parked in Ballston Commons's garage.)
It was tiny, but worth a look. The 20 or so vendors they did have were very talented. I believe they do it the second Saturday of every month during the spring and summer.
Here are some vendors that I liked:
dandelionblu, who had beautiful, elegant, minimalist jewelery.
Pottery by Nancy Sween, who knew a lot about the varieties of pottery and who had some beautiful, quality mugs, pots, and vases.
Kitchen Table Studios, who seemed to be a group of people that had a large variety of products, including mosaics, stuffed animals, jewelery, etc.
